Heather Hawthorne is a US nationally certified licensed massage therapist, skin care therapist, facials specialist and a certified Hatha yoga instructor, specializing in luxury spa services for the yachting industry. Over 12 years of licensed experience and 10 years within the yachting community have earned her an industry-wide reputation for first-class service with the highest of standards. Her years of experience within the yachting industry and in private practice have allowed her a vast knowledge of yachts, their clients and their needs. Her treatments are a truly valuable service and are pampering, personalized spa experiences for each individual. She offers personal treatments with the highest level of service and confidentiality.

Heather has chartered repeatedly with some of the world's most prestigious yachts, working with an international repertoire of some of the globe's most prominent people, many of which are her annual charter and personal clients. Her clients include prime ministers, Nobel Peace Prize winners, Academy Award winners, Hollywood celebrities, elite professional athletes and coaches, musicians, fashion personalities and international politicians, just to name a few.

In private practice since 1996, Heather has been providing charter services for the yachting industry since 1998. She is certified in many massage modalities and has taught massage to students at massage therapy schools and in accredited workshops. She has completed her training in several  countries including the US, England, Thailand and Australia. As a former state and national champion swimmer, she has become certified as a WATSU practioner and Water Fitness instructor. She also works closely with triathletes instructing swimming and stroke techniques.

She has worked with some of the yachting industry's top charter brokerage firms including Camper & Nicholsons, Nigel Burgess, Koch Newton & Partners and International Yacht Collection. She has completed over 60 charters on various yachts including Oasis, Excellence III, Phoenix, Fortunato, Apogee, Felicita West, Mia Elise, Galaxy and Big Eagle.

Heather lives in Noosa in Queensland, Australia and is presently building and developing Touch the Earth rainforest yoga center and health retreat in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast.
